The Maxxis Forekaster :perfectly equipped in any weather
If the ground is deeper or the weather is wetter, the Forekaster is the choice. The mid-high studs are evenly spaced so that they grip perfectly on the trails with a loose layer over firm ground. The profile is more open compared to Maxxi's other racer tires for better self-cleaning on damp floors. Wide notched center studs brake convincingly on slippery single trails. With the Forekaster you are perfectly equipped for the trails – in any weather.
Note:
Maxxis strongly advises against the use of ammonia-containing sealing milk. Ammonia has been shown to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it up to 30 after just a few months.
Maxxis recommends using the Tire Plasma tire sealant.

Dual
For the dual compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures is planned individually according to the desired properties of the Maxxis tires.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the side wall of various MTB tires from Maxxis. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
Tubeless ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the risk of breakdown also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions when they are first inflated and with little liquid.
